Man Booties

After one trip around in the front loading washing machine, these shrunk to exactly the right size. Even though the weather here has been quite warm, the slippers have been in use for the last week. They look kinda plain, though.

They remind me of extant wool boots from the viking period. I'll see if I can find a link.

Although it says it's middle-eastern.

PS: My fetching hand warmers are getting more and more pilled. Is there anything I can wash them in to make them soft again?

Sorry your handwarmers are getting pills. Toss them in the washer & air dry & cut off pills with nail scissors.
You are entitled to a replacement pair!

Cool! I love your stuff! Though if I had man-booties (chick-booties?) of my very own I'd probably break my neck - hardwood floors. :-)
